V rámci výstavy v Gallery8 v Budapešti som vytvorila nové kresby. Hovoria o traume, ktorú okolo seba neustále vytvárame na základe etnickej neznášanlivosti. Môj trojmesačný rezidenčný pobyt v Budapešti je podporený Vyšegrádskym Fondom.

In the frame of the commemoration-exhibition in Gallery8 in Budapest, I have made some new drawings sarcastically depicting the trauma that we create around ourselves due to our ethnicity. My three months residency in Budapest is supported by Vysegrad Fund.

Názov kresby: ÚZKOSTLIVOSŤ, (90cm x 64cm, kresba fixou na papier, 2015). Jedným zo spôsobov ako sa nenakaziť "cigánskou infekciou" je nosenie návlekov. Bodky reprezentujú lienku, ktorá stelesňuje slobodu a je spomínaná v populárnej maďarskej uspávanke.

The work above: ANXIETY by Zuzana Hruskova (90cm x 64cm, drawing with marker on paper, 2015). One of the ways to protect yourself from the “Gypsy infection”is to wear these covers, just like in the hospital. The ladybird pattern represents freedom of being able to fly away (originally used in the Hungarian children song).
